WSTI Chancellor
Chancellor of the Higher School of Information Technology in Katowice and Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science of the Higher School of Information Technology in Katowice since 2004.
A computer scientist by education, a graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice. His professional life is largely related to computer science and education. He gained key qualifications and professional experience in IT companies, as well as educational institutions. He is a co-owner and owner of IT and training companies. He has experience in managing schools as school principals: post-secondary IT schools and high schools.
Author of many programs in the field of computer training for employees of companies and individuals. Consultant for computer companies producing software supporting the management and management of educational units and institutions. Co-author of experimental bilingual classes. Teacher of winners of olympiads and national subject competitions in computer science.
He has won numerous awards for his educational and educational activities, including: awards: school principals, Silesian Education Superintendent in Katowice, Silver Cross of Merit – President of the Republic of Poland for overall educational activity, awards and distinctions of city authorities.
Non-professional interests
Music lover of classical music and opera. He is interested in photography and good theater, as well as mountain expeditions. He used to practice road cycling and is still interested in this sport.
Studying is also character building
Studying is not only a period of intensive intellectual work, acquiring new professional skills. It is also a wonderful time of youth.
I would like WSTI to educate not only specialists who are perfectly prepared for work in their profession. I want WSTI graduates to be valuable people of success. Therefore, in addition to imparting the latest specialist knowledge, I take care to shape certain character traits and attitudes of young people that determine future personal success, as well as the success of the organizations in which these young people will work in the future.
I have great respect for people with high personal culture, as well as people dedicated to important social missions. I prefer co-workers and students who are ambitious, consistent, reliable and open to success. I look for authorities in extraordinary people, determined in their work and actions, who leave behind positive signs of their existence, and what is more, do all this without seeking fame. I value professionalism, diligence and creativity. I require loyalty and honesty from co-workers.
I do not tolerate stardom and megalomania. I do not find common ground with people who want to live at the expense of others and, in addition, consider this fact as an ability to so-called cope well in life. I find no excuse for the actions of amateurs and politicians, whose greatness is based only on so-called – acquaintances and affiliations.
I treat the lack of principles in a person’s life as the greatest flaw of his character. Keeping one’s word and giving up goods and privileges at the cost of maintaining dignity – I consider it a fundamental feature of the character of a real man.
I claim that the greatest wealth of any company is its employees, and a good working atmosphere is a real catalyst for success. I believe that WSTI graduates, thanks to the joint work of the teaching staff, apart from specialist knowledge, bring to the job market traits and attitudes that significantly contribute to development.
