Rector of the Katowice Institute of Information Technologies (WSTI)
He studied physics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the University of Silesia in Katowice – he graduated with a very good result in 1975. He obtained his Ph.D. in physics there in 1987 based on the dissertation ‘Study of phase diagrams of ATN solid solutions’. He specialized in X-ray structural analysis. He worked at the Institute of Physics and is the co-author of over 50 scientific papers, as well as the co-author of a textbook for students. He has been associated with the Higher School of Information Technology in Katowice since its establishment.
