The first stage of enrollment is to fill out an online enrollment form in the electronic enrollment system.
Clicking the appropriate button below will take you to the actual recruitment form. The recruitment form will take a few minutes to complete. To fill it out, you will need your data, including: PESEL, the name of the school you graduated from, in the case of a bachelor’s degree, high school information, and a file with an ID photo (light background, no headgear; .jpg, .png, .tif file, 150-300 dpi resolution). The recruitment form can be edited again.
As part of the first stage of enrollment, applicants to the Graphic Design bachelor’s degree program should also reserve an interview date.

Candidates for bachelor’s degree studies should have a secondary education with a high school diploma exam. Second-level studies are aimed at graduates of first-level studies. Postgraduate studies are aimed at graduates of bachelor’s or master’s degree programs.
A person who has passed the matriculation exam and documents this fact with a Matriculation Certificate can become a university student.

The interview is designed to test the ability and artistic skills of the candidate and to assess the portfolio. The interests and motivation of the candidate are verified.

These issues do not constitute an exhaustive list. Comprehensive preparation is not required of the candidate. However, he should have at least a basic knowledge of art and design, an aesthetic sense, a minimum of intermediate workshop skills and the motivation for intensive training.
The maximum number of points gained for assessing the suitability and skills of the candidate during the interview is 6 points. The minimum required number of points necessary for positive verification of the candidate during the interview for assessing the suitability and skills is 2 points.
Positive verification of the candidate allowing him to qualify for the third stage of recruitment for artistic studies at the Graphic Design major requires a minimum total of 4 points scored during the interview, the two points earned for portfolio and for assessing the suitability and skills of the candidate.
The interview lasts approx 10 minutes.
The portfolio should include 5 to 15 of one’s own art and/or design works of any theme and size, and in any form, including electronic form (files in PDF, jpg or html format) is acceptable.

In accordance with the Statute of the University and the Academic Regulations of the University of Information Technology in Katowice, the transfer of a student from another university to the University may take place as long as there are vacancies.
A student applying for admission to the University of Information Technology in Katowice on a transfer basis from another university must have the status of a student of the university from which the transfer will take place.
A prerequisite for the transfer of a student is also the comparability of the predominant number of subjects and their programs passed by the candidate within the framework of the abandoned university, which at the same time apply at the University of Information Technology in Katowice.
In the case of curriculum differences resulting from the study plan and program, the Rector shall determine the semester of enrollment, as well as the procedure and deadlines for possible credit for the subjects completed by the transferring student.
