Scheduling a job interview appointment – after completing the registration via the recruitment form, the candidate will have the opportunity to make a reservation, which can only be done online. Scheduling an interview appointment is necessary to proceed to the second stage of the recruitment process.
In the Graphics program at WSTI, it is required to undergo a qualifying interview, for which a prior appointment must be scheduled.
Interview – taking part in the interview aimed at testing the ability and artistic skills of the candidate The interview includes:
1. verification of interests and the artistic preparation of the candidate,
2. assessment of a candidate’s portfolio consisting of 5 to 15 own works of art and/or design works in the field of:
– drawing (including sketches),
– painting,
– sculpture (photographs),
– photography,
– multimedia works,
– design work.
The portfolio does not have to include works from all of the aforementioned categories and can be submitted in electronic form (PDF file, jpg or html). The subject matter and size (dimensions) of the presented works can be arbitrary.

The interview is designed to test the ability and artistic skills of the candidate and to assess the portfolio. The interests and motivation of the candidate are verified. Examples of issues discussed during the interview are:

Comprehensive preparation is not required of the candidate. However, he should have at least a basic knowledge of art and design, aesthetic sense, at least intermediate technical skills and motivation for intensive training.
The maximum number of points gained for assessing the suitability and skills of the candidate during the interview is 6 points The minimum required number of points necessary for positive verification of the candidate during the interview for assessing the suitability and skills is 2 points.
Positive verification of the candidate allowing him to qualify for the third stage of recruitment for artistic studies at the Graphic Design major requires a minimum total of 4 points scored during the interview, the two points earned for portfolio and for assessing the suitability and skills of the candidate.
The interview lasts approx. 10 minutes.
The interview result is presented to the Candidate immediately after its completion.
The candidate is obliged to submit the following documents:
All documents issued in a foreign language will be accepted together with a translation into Polish prepared by a sworn translator entered on the list of sworn translators of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland.
Submit documents and complete formalities directly at the Recruitment Office.
Take your ID card with you to confirm your identity.
Remember that admission to studies is based on the order of applications.
Candidates who provide complete required documentation and complete formalities related to enrollment in the selected field of study are admitted to the studies. Filling out only the form in the electronic recruitment system of WSTI in Katowice or submitting incomplete documentation does not guarantee a place in the group.
